Wanderu is a new Boston-based startup designed to make finding and booking inter-city bus and train travel easier, more convenient and even fun! Based in Boston the company describes its service as a Kayak for ground travel. The ideas stemmed from Polina Raygorodskaya experiences with frequent bus trips. At her first company, a public relations firm, she was working in both New York City and Boston representing designers and beauty brands. During this time she was frustrated by having to log on to multiple websites to book tickets. She saw an opportunity and teamed up with three friends to launch Wanderu.com, the first-ever website devoted to ground travel search. Wanderu says it now has more than 80 percent coverage in the Northeast.
